Great TexMex food at reasonable prices, EXCEPT for panko shrimp. Don't buy panko shrimp. We go there at least once a month...
Burrito was good. Tortilla chips were grease soaked and stale. Understaffed. Server was doing her best to keep up. She was very friendly despite the fact that she was overwhelmed.
I really appreciate the fantastic service and the great food we had today. All of us needed boxes to take food home due to the large servings. Looking forward to next time.
The food is not very good anymore. Everything from the queso to the burrito taste processed. Used to like going to Tumbleweed back in the day when they had fresh meals and better size portions for the price. Now I'm going to spend my money elsewhere. Sorry to see a local restaurant like this go downhill. Tumbleweed needs to go back to their roots, when the menu was good and the food was actually made in the Kitchen and not a microwave. Service was not good either. Wife and daughter meals were wrong when they came out. We did not send them back because we already waited a hour for burrito and chimi dinners. No offer to compensate by server. We did not push issue because server was new. I can say , we will not be going back.
Last time giving this place a shot! The dining area maybe had 3 or 4 tables of people. A few at each table. The floor was nasty, the table we were sat at was sticky, took the server over 5 minutes to come over and take our drink orders. Our food took at least 20 minutes (chicken tenders) to get there and it wasn't hot it was barely warm. Our waitress never once came over to re fill our drinks at all, and the only time we saw her after we got our food and drinks was to give us our checks. It was me my aunt and my 10 year old cousin who didn't even eat. It seems like every time I come here no matter who I'm with, what day it is, or what I order the service is always terrible the staff is under mindful and the food is mediocre. I saw numerous staff members standing around on their phone and talking instead of attending to their customers. Ridiculous.
